Mackool Online 3D CME

Welcome to Season #5 of our monthly video series, Mackool Online 3D CME, featuring the first-ever online 3D surgical education videos.

I am happy to announce an exciting addition as we continue into our fourth year of Mackool Online 3D CME. This year, my son, Dr. RJ Mackool, and I will share the honor of presenting our 3D surgical cases to you and I will continue to narrate the 3D videos. This will enable us to expand the variety of the cases that we bring to you. These 3D surgical videos can be viewed directly on high-definition 3D video glasses provided to qualified US residency programs through an Academic Independent Medical Education grant from Alcon. The videos can also be downloaded and viewed on other 3D viewing systems. The entire 3D CME Video Series is complimentary and is supported by an Alcon Academic Independent Medical Education grant as well as in-kind support from the Mackool Eye Institute Research Foundation. The high-definition 3D video provide the identical, high definition, three dimensional video images that we observe as we perform these surgeries. Editing is limited to different camera views and the removal of down time. One new surgical video will be released every month and also archived on the website, allowing viewers to see previous episodes as well as earn CME credits if desired. Thanks for joining us on Mackool Online 3D CME.
